How to apply
- Check the passport expiry date is at least 3 months after you arrive, and that the passport is not damaged.
- You do not complete a Moroccan eVisa for an ordinary British citizen holiday. That system is for travellers who are subject to a visa.
- At the border, check that your passport is stamped. Keep that stamp until you leave.
- If you need more than 90 days, GOV.UK says request an extension at a Moroccan police station. It does not publish a fee for that request.
What the Moroccan list says
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs consular list includes the United Kingdom among countries whose citizens are exempt from an entry visa. Some other countries on that list have a shorter cap written next to the name. The United Kingdom line does not. The 90-day tourism limit on this page is the figure published by GOV.UK.
Do not post a passport to or through Morocco. GOV.UK says that is illegal and that the authorities confiscate British passports sent by post or courier.
